The jubilarian was born in the thuringian toy town of sonneberg, but moved to her mother's hometown of trebgast when she was just one year old, where her parents ran a bakery with a grocery store and a cafe.
When her father died in 1969 at the age of 65, her life changed. She took over the business, supported by her husband rudolf and her sister erika.
In 1990, the bakery and the store were abandoned. Since then, the cafe has been open by appointment for meetings and lectures.
However, marianne eisenschink never knew boredom. From a young age she had a love for music. She still likes to relax at her piano, which she has been playing for 74 years.
She has been singing in the johanneschor for over 60 years. Until its dissolution, she was also active in the choral society. From 1953, it played theater for nine years on the natural stage, which had just been founded at the time.
She met her husband romantically in herrsching. She was there on vacation, the native swabian rudolf attended the financial college. They got married in 1964 while dancing. Even though she lived in kulmbach for two years, she has remained in trebgas and feels very much at home here.
